Shirin Restaurant

I honestly can’t say enough how much I enjoy dining at Shirin. Quite possibly the best Persian restaurant in LA, and definitely the best in the San Fernando Valley. The service is top notch, the indoor seating is pleasant, and most importantly, the food is delicious. I love how they excel in every aspect of running a restaurant. My favorite is their combination koobideh plate, they don’t mess around with their portions either. Great place, and Luis is super friendly! Highly recommend if you’re in the southern valley/Woodland Hills area.

Came here after a long drive down to LA. It happened to be next to the hotel where we’re staying. From the moment we walked in, the service was top notch. The host greeted us, got a table for us and the serve came out with a nice basket of bread (along with the necessary onion which is really delectable and a must for some of us). The rest of the meal just got better. The appetizers were wonderful (in particular the herb plate). All of the main courses from the kabobs to the fish were excellent. Warm and convivial host. They even had live music.

Shirin is a very refreshing restaurant! From the interior design, to the live entertainment, tasty large portion sizes, and wonderful service, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Emilio was an excellent host, as he recommended some stews to go with the tahdig and kindly tied up our to go boxes. The ice cream was very satisfying as well. Overall, definitely worth the visit!

I had such a wonderful experience at this café! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The space was cozy and clean, perfect for a relaxing meal. I ordered the hummus and beef kebab, and both were absolutely delicious. The hummus was creamy and full of flavor—clearly made fresh—and the beef kebab was perfectly cooked: juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. Every bite was a delight. But what truly made the experience exceptional was Luis. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in the service he provides. It felt like I was being taken care of by a friend. I’m so happy I found this place and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend not just for the food, but for the heartwarming hospitality. Thank you, Luis, for making my visit so special!

Our First time here and we were celebrating my birthday and we were not disappointed at all. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Luis made sure that everyone was happy and he talked to us in Spanish so I felt like home. I love the diversity of this place. Gracias Luis you are the best!

Staff are so helpful and kind, especially Emilio. I wish I could give 6 stars. The food is a must try if you’re ever in LA, most definitely worth the drive. Lamb chops is a nonnegotiable!
